Glacier School Tour
At Museum School students receive a short lesson in the one room school house.
It includes an introduction to old fashioned school rules, and a performance of the play “Out at the Bush Camp”. This gives students a taste of how men worked and lived out at the timber camps around Rocky Mountain House.
Other activities included are hands-on artifact examination, spinning demonstration, butter making, finger weaving and an oral history about the Big Rock. Lessons are held in the Glacier School house for 3 days in a row. This program’s projected costs are $2000/year.
